Omschrijving opdracht
As an all-round Data Warehouse specialist you will be involved in datawarehouse releases and separation projects for Corporate Functions. Within this programme, the realisation of a financial management information system based on Oralce and Business Objects is started. The development team is headed in Rotterdam, and works for other Business Units stationed in, mainly, Amsterdam as well.
A real experienced all-round team member from functional design to the realisation and implementation is being asked for.

The working locations are:
- Rotterdam Blaak
- Amsterdam Rokin
- Possible Amstelveen

You will be required to:
· Define and generate tables within Oracle
· Set-up en model the Oracle database
· Develop a wide variety of SQL scripts
· Review the functional specifications and agreements made with the source systems that will deliver the data for the warehouse / project.
· Support the developers vice versa in creating the software
· Develop the changes needed in Oracle and Business Objects
· Set-up the Business Objects Universe, and prepare some example reports.
· Make sure scheduling and monitoring aspects are arranged and scheduling of source systems and warehouse (staging areas) is aligned.
· Plan, prepare and execute system test to validate the deliveries by the developers.

Furthermore, if possible:
· Co-ordinate, support or execute the database changes
. system test the delivered software

Kennis vereist:
- High degree of education (Bachelor or Master) or provable level of experience to compensate.
- Expert in design and development (Business Objects and Oracle)
- Knowledge on data warehouse concepts and determining testing approach for a data warehouse project.
- Expert with Business Objects, Oracle and TOAD
- Proven experience with PL/SQL
- Dutch and English verbal and written language skills. The day-to-day spoken language is Dutch
Kennis gewenst:
- Ability to translate requirements and thoughts into proper technical design documents and structured programs / mappings
- Risk management, financial investment and banking knowledge is a (strong) advantage
- Hands-on knowledge of IBM p-Series and WINTEL.
- Some experience with Informatica PoWerCenter is an advantage
- Some experience with Oracle Designer and the Deployment Explorer
Vereiste werkervaring:
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on working experience within this area
