Until now Global One system is the IT back-bone for transactionentry and trade processing. The client recently decided to replace Global Oneby 4Sight system. IT project manager is responsible for the decommissioning ofGlobal One and satellite systems. The decommissioning involves area’s like :data migration between systems, preparing run-books, parallel testing inconjunction with the build-up of 4Sight.

Werkzaamheden:
Act as the central point-of-contact for all IT related matters
Participate in the start up of the project based on Prince2 guidelines with all necessary milestone documents such as a mandate, PID, Project Start Architecture.
Manage the execution of the IT parts of the project, such as resource allocation, detailed planning (e.g. stageplan), progress reporting/ exception reporting as well as time reporting.
Manage relationships i.e.: inform stakeholders on status and progress manage project environment (line management and programme management).
Arrange the infrastructure side of the project together with I & O project lead of the Fortis data centre.
Overlook that the necessary security baselines are being applied to the project.
Prepare structured testing for unit-, system- and performance testing with the test manager.
Closing of the project i.e.: evaluating the implementation of the project and project results (including costs and duration), as well as reporting on the results and lessons learned.

Functie eisen:
General knowledge of Banking. Experience with Securities Financing business is strongly recommended.
Experience preparing data migration (e.g. trades, static data), including conversion software
Managing the parallel run between the current - and the new environments, including interfacing (e.g. data vendors)
Solving day-to-day issues during the data migration and testing, including managing client expectations
Infrastructure knowledge, understanding the problems of decommissioning on various platforms (UNIX/ JBoss/ Java) or locally build applications
Formal qualification in Prince2 project methodology with a right balance between a structured approach and ad-hoc requests or changes.
Experience in managing interface development based on software methods like agile (RUP) or waterfall (LAD)
Experience with arranging the IT infrastructure required for the project, founded on the security baselines and SLA agreements
Experience preparing and execution of a structured testing approach
Has a relevant college or an university degree
