Job Description:
Responsible for solution design and construction, implementation and systems integration, delivering high quality solutions in response to varying business,customer and system requirements. Tasks performed require design, develop and test systems and integrating hardware, software, and networksolutions. Identify project requirements, developing solution delivery. IT Specialistshave thorough understanding of products, offerings and services within their specialtyarea.


Job Purpose:
Deliver high quality solutions and products and perform a (technical) leadershiprole in support of the solution construction, implementation, testing and systemintegration.

Responsible for analyzing requirements and evaluating the impacts on thevarious processes from a functional perspective based on the business requirementprovided. They define current and future operational scenarios (processes and solutions) and work with the client and the Architect to ensure propertranslation of requirements to IT solution requirements.

Responsible to translate these requirements in to the global solution includingMurex.

MUREX Global FX Options and FX/MM Programme -- OIB Banking Wholesale |Financial Markets
MUREX has been chosen as one of the TOM Front-Office platforms for FM andwill be globally rolled out in the FX, FX Forward, Treasury and FX derivativeareas. In the first phase the MUREX programme has delivered Murex as theglobal Front-Office and MRM system for FX Derivatives. As a next step theprogramme will expand to cover the replacement of current FX, FX Forwardand Treasury systems around the globe, based on a one single Global OperatingModel.

The scope of this programme entails several critical regulatory, commercialand business continuity related projects which are to be delivered withinan ambitious timeframe and global environment.

Project assignment
Functional Analyst role within the MUREX Global Programme

Resource is responsible for:
- developing requirements and performing associated Impact Analysis
- translating the requirements into a solution on the global MUREX platformby performing detailed Analysis & Design, Configuration and Testing/Migrationtasks
- perform gap analysis on existing functionality to facilitate transitionfrom legacy onto the MUREX platform
- enforce the Change Management process

The professional will report to the Technical Lead (TL) of the programme.Please note that extensive MUREX 3.1 experience and product area knowledge(FX Options & FX/MM) is a must. Most important focus for this is assignmentis to find solid integration solutions.

General/Business knowledge
Required:
Experience in a Project driven environment
Experience in a Change Management environment for FO applications
Have in-depth financial market product knowledge: FX/MM, FX Derivatives& Interest Derivatives
Have experience with Front-to-Finance processes in the area of FinancialMarkets
Experience in Front-to-Finance integration and migration solutions

Perform a full Impact Analysis of set requirements
Translate the business requirements into a concise and future proofMurex configuration (tasks include Analysis, Design, and Testing)
Be a sparring partner to the ’technical’ team

Preferred:
Experience in a Change Management environment of Murex
Experience working in a CMMi environment

Technical/Application skills
Required:
Experience with the FX/MM and FXO modules of Murex
Broad knowledge of MUREX 3.1, especially the following modules
Murex data model
Murex Exchange (MXML)
E-Tradepad (trade entry and lifecycle management)
Datamart
SQL (Sybase)
Minimum three years of active integration experience with Murex.

Settlements
Murex Limits Connector (MLC)
Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Murex GOM
Murex general configuration
Contract workflow (pricing & closing)
Unix
Shell scripting
